Just wanted to share a glimpse into my work as an associate producer on CNN's 'State of the Race' on Max. I had the opportunity to write and produce segments during my time on the show, so I cut together a reel of some of my favorite segment intros.

Jury selection began on Tuesday, May 14, in the second criminal trial of Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ), who has pleaded not guilty to corruption charges alleging he traded political influence for hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and gold bars.

CNN Tonight, august 11, 2023: 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop

Hip-Hop trailblazer MC Lyte and Hip-Hop journalism pioneer and Former Editor-in-Chief Kierna Mayo came on the show to discuss the evolution and importance of Hip-Hop. I pitched and helped produce this segment. The idea came when I saw that Netflix released the new docuseries, “Ladies First: A Story of Women in Hip-Hop”. The 4-part series highlights the history and contributions of women in the genre.

I contributed question ideas and gathered visual elements.
